When mold is discovered during renovation or demolition, our selective-demolition and environmental-remediation experience helps reduce handoffs between contractors. We can coordinate mold-affected material removal with asbestos considerations, interior demolition, and repair planning when those scopes overlap.

Florida mold licensing and the 10-square-foot threshold
Florida law defines mold assessment and mold remediation, for purposes of the state licensing program, as work involving mold growth or mold-contaminated matter greater than 10 square feet. Businesses offering covered mold assessment or remediation services to the public generally must use appropriately licensed professionals, subject to the exemptions and other provisions in Part XVI of Chapter 468, Florida Statutes.
